PULSE Offers Free Studio Time for Teens
Location
Union Arts Center
700 Union Street
Seattle, WA 98101
Description
PULSE (Playing, Uniting, Learning, Supporting, Experiencing) is a third-space concept designed specifically for youth to explore the arts. Ages college and high school are encouraged to come to PULSE every Sunday at Union Arts Center! No cost.
PULSE will have 3 hours of weekly āstudio timeā with structured activity such as script reading, workshops, and mentorship programs, followed by unstructured affinity spaces and open talkback time. This space exists without a commitment to a final performance, unlike many spaces in the youth theatre world.
Every Sunday from 1-4pm, high school and college-age youth are encouraged to show up at Union Arts Centerās Box Office. Ā Itās always a good idea to show up 10 minutes early and bring a water bottle, a notebook, and clothes you can move in comfortably.
If you arrive late, there will be information on how to find the PULSE group, and how to contact the session lead in the Box Office. This space is here to serve all members of our community, so you are encouraged to join, however you can, whenever you can!
Sessions are FREE, with no registration required!
