Throughout February, we\u2019ll introduce you to Unsung Heroes from around the state. Enjoy their stories.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexandria Burkard, Wenatchee <\/strong>(3 nominations)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alexandria works a full-time job at Chelan County PUD, manages a rental property, is a licensed attorney and while doing all of that she has taken the time to be a guardian of vulnerable children with Chelan Douglas Court Appointed Special Advocates for the last decade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this role she makes sure that children, in one of the most difficult times of their lives, are safe, cared for, and have their best interests at the forefront of the court minds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: right;\"><em>&#8212; Zachary Burkard<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am nominating Alex due to her decade of working with youth that have been removed from their homes. She does this with CASA as a guardian ad litem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: right;\"><em>&#8212; Gabriel Rodriguez-Lopez<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I would like to nominate Alexandria for her dedication and commitment in volunteering her time to advocate for children through CASA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her commitment and passion have made a meaningful impact on the lives of the children she serves.
