Seattle theater lovers \u2014 and families planning ahead for big nights out \u2014 have plenty to look forward to in the year ahead. Seattle Theatre Group has announced the 2026\u20132027 Premera Blue Cross Broadway at The Paramount season, bringing a mix of blockbuster hits, award-winning musicals, and beloved classics to the historic Paramount Theatre.<\/p>\n

The upcoming lineup features seven main season shows plus three optional add-ons, including fan favorites, new touring productions direct from Broadway, and several titles that could appeal to multi-generational audiences.<\/p>\n

Subscription renewals opened Feb. 19, with new subscriptions expected to go on sale this spring.<\/p>\n

A Season Filled with Big-Name Productions<\/h4>\n

The season kicks off late summer with the theatrical phenomenon “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child<\/a>” (Aug. 22\u2013Sept. 12, 2026), the Tony Award-winning stage sequel to the beloved book and film series. With its dazzling stage magic and time-traveling adventure, the production promises an immersive theatrical experience for fans of the wizarding world.<\/p>\n

Fall highlights include “Water for Elephants<\/a>” (Oct. 6\u201311, 2026), a visually imaginative musical adaptation of the bestselling novel, followed by “The Outsiders<\/a>” (Nov. 27\u2013Dec. 6, 2026), the Tony Award-winning coming-of-age musical based on S.E. Hinton\u2019s classic story.<\/p>\n

Families may especially want to mark their calendars for the holiday run of Disney\u2019s “Beauty and the Beast<\/a>” (Dec. 22, 2026\u2013Jan. 3, 2027), returning to touring stages with an all-new production featuring iconic songs and elaborate costumes.<\/p>\n

Winter and spring bring additional variety, including the rock opera revival “The Who\u2019s Tommy<\/a>” (March 16\u201321, 2027) and the return of Rodgers & Hammerstein\u2019s timeless classic “The Sound of Music<\/a>” (June 1\u20136, 2027).<\/p>\n

The season closes with “The Great Gatsby<\/a>” (July 6\u201311, 2027), a Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald\u2019s Roaring Twenties tale.<\/p>\n
