The Farm is primarily a functioning farm that contains a mix of micro-businesses that all work towards a shared purpose. You are encouraged to come observe for yourself how a farm works, how it helps the environment, and how it contributes to a healthy living.

Visitors to the Farm can meet their farmers and take an educational behind-the-scenes farm tour. Experience a guided tour of The Farm’s grounds and learn firsthand about their sustainable and ethical farming practises.

‘Grow, Feed, Educate’ is the farm’s slogan and source of inspiration for the entire community. The firsthand experience of witnessing how food is grown and produced enhances the pleasure of consuming it. Curiosity and a drive to learn more grow from this simple pleasure.

They welcome large and small groups as well as school groups interested in agriculture, farming, and livestock. Their farmers will schedule a time to show groups around The Farm and show them what they are accomplishing.

Enjoy your visit to The Farm and leave motivated to make even the slightest change towards a healthier, more harmonious relationship with their land, animals, and communities.

The Farm is a great place to eat

 Three Blue Ducks

The Farm Byron Bay‘s restaurant, cafe, and produce store are run by three Blue Ducks. ‘The Ducks,’ as they are affectionately known, are five friends who are dedicated to nourishing the community through ethical, authentic, and high-quality food and hospitality.

They try to source as much as possible from The Farm before venturing further afield. To make all of our meals, we use organic or spray-free produce that has been grown in a sustainable manner. When it’s in season, they get almost everything from the surrounding area, from southern Queensland to Port Macquarie. Their dishes reflect a shared ethos of creating honest, seasonal dishes that are high in nutrients and flavour.

The space was purposefully designed to be understated but welcoming. The undercover outdoor patio offers panoramic views of the Byron hinterland in the west, Mt Warning in the north, and Cape Byron Lighthouse in the east. On weekends and for private events, they love to fire up our 12 metre outdoor kitchen, which includes a double spit, a wood fire pizza oven, and an Argentinian grill. The bar features 56 taps of all Australian craft beers, wines, and ciders, as well as a variety of unique cocktails to suit all tastes.

The Bread Social

Nothing beats the aroma of freshly baked bread from The Bread Social as you enter The Produce Store at The Farm Byron Bay. The Bread Social is an artisan bakehouse run by local baking legends Tom Scott, Sam Saulwick, and Paul Giddings, who bake everything from bio-dynamic sourdoughs to light buttery pastries.

Their ingredients are Australian, bio-dynamic, and as locally sourced as possible, and their products are nothing short of perfect. Get in quick for your daily bread because the shelves go quickly.

Baylato

Byron Bay is known around the world for its style and high-quality local products; Baylato brings the same to your door!

Paola, a sixteen-year resident of the area, began selling gourmet gelato at local markets in 2000. Paola started the gelato wedding & events catering business in 2012 after many satisfied customers asked her to cater at their weddings. She loved seeing beautiful, happy people enjoying her gelato and looking great… at least in the beginning!

KidzKlub and The Farm

The Farm Kids programmes and workshops are inspired by the Farm’s core values of grow, feed, and educate.

The tours allow children to see firsthand how food is grown and produced, providing them with a new understanding and appreciation for our land, our animals, and our community.

Farm Kids programmes are available during all school holidays and on some Sundays. Because our experiences are constantly evolving, no two visits to The Farm are ever the same.

The experiences include topics such as farm life, ethical farming, food production, cooking with fresh produce, and crafting with natural and recycled materials.

KidzKlub Australia also hosts birthday parties at The Farm that are jam-packed with excitement and adventure.
